Name Change

Well, the FBI Security and Alarm Company has changed its name to the US Marshals Service Security and Alarm Company. http://www.wavy.com/dpp/news/us_news/midwest/nat_ap_wash_ag_orders_protection_in_wake_of_doctor_slaying_200906011054_2477196

The article says that a federal judge or the Attorney General can order protection for someone outside the the court system. While I don't know if that is true, I certainly don't know how Attorney General Eric "Whites Are Not Equal" Holder determines which Americans, or foreigners, get USMS Security and Alarm Company protection. I am sure if you call up and ask for it, you will find out. Now, in the past, the USMS has protected a strange collection of people. Such as Juan Miguel González Quintana, the father of Elian Gonzalez, got USMS Security and Alarm Company protection. There was, of course, no legal basis for it. And the agency that should have performed those duties, because Quintana was an alien visitor to the U.S. was the Diplomatic Security Service, who, by the way, refused to take on the responsibility, because there was no legal basis for it. Interesting aside Salmon Rushdie, while a visitor to the U.S. and after he obtained legal permanent residency had a protective detail from the DSS.

And, of course, as the article points out, we do not know among the abortionists will get the special protection. Interestingly enough liberals are attacking Sheriff Joe Arpaio for arresting illegal aliens when there are a large number of outstanding arrest warrants in Maricopa County. However, turnabout being fair play, why is the USMS Security and Alarm Company wasting resources on chaffuer services for abortionists while there are so many federal fugitives out there? As a matter of fact, the USMS Security and Alarm Company refuses, yes refuses to execute arrest warrants for misdemeanors unless the subject is already in the custody of another law enforcement agency. Felony warrants as well are going unserved; Murders, rapists, terrorists, etc are now free to ply their trades without fear of arrest by the USMS Security and Alarm Company, who are concerned now about either non-existant threats to abortionists or threats that are so general as to be impossible to guard against.

Clearly, this was a one off event and in protection details threat analysis is the basis for deploying resources. However, abortionists are large in number and there are not enough resources for the USMS Security and Guard Services to give anything other than perfunctory protection to any of them. And, given the difused nature of the agressive anti-abortion activists, there is no way to predict where they will strike next. Furthermore, a minimum protective detail for a protectee is a seven man detail whenever the protectee moves and four four when the protectee is in his residence. So, given two shifts for when the protectee is moving about during the regular course of business and another shift for the residence when at home, you can start counting the cost of 21 Deputy US Marshals for a 24 hour period, then take into account a five day work week, 52 weeks a year, vactions, sickness, training, etc, and it starts to grow into a huge commitment.

As InFromTheCold points out, there has been no statement from the President, from Holder or from Janet Reno Napalitano about the murder of a soldier by a Muslim, and the fact that the USMS Security and Alarm Company has not been deployed to protect Recruiting Stations, and, more importantly, no prosecutions of other attacks on Recruiters or Recruiting Stations, we can assume that the terrorists and Code Pinko have gotten the go ahead from the Obama Regime.

Add to this the growing harrassment of John Yoo, the former DOJ attorney under Bush. There are no investigations into the harrassment of him, the demonstrators parked on his street, the threats, no concern about his civil rights from the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice.
http://www.zombietime.com/zomblog/ As I said before. Some have civil rights and some have none, and it all depends on your politics.
Even worse, Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad, has been identified as an FBI subject of interest, but they allowed him to move about unhindered and unprosecuted for passport fraud when he used a Somali passport to travel to Yemen. It appears that some people in this country are more equal than others.
