Hot on the heels of the Obama Administrative Amnesty and the coming emasculation of Secure Communities, the left is again on the attack, this time the target is the U.S. Border Patrol (USBP), and for two very contradictory rationalizations, but with the sole intent of ending border enforcement in the northwest. First, that the USBP is doing nothing and the second is that the USBP is doing too much. Holding two diametrically opposed interpretations is the essence of leftism. Facts never get in the way. Of course the first clue is that there are allegations of racial profiling and someone's mail being opened. Obviously some don't like the idea that Hispanics are being arrested for being illegal aliens. And Sanchez appears to be a certifiable nut-case, babbling about his mail being opened. Next thing he will be providing evidence of Republicans bringing down the Twin Towers and of Barry Goldwater's fingerprints on a certain Italian rifle. But, back to the left, who are promulgating two mutually exclusive themes. At the same time the USBP is doing nothing and too much. Wasting overtime doing nothing and simultaneously rounding up Hispanic illegals by staking out where they live, work, shop and play. I am not quite sure which is true. The Bush Administrative ended interior enforcement by the USBP and the Obama Regime is cutting back on overall spending in DHS. While padding overtime is a USBP specialty, the complaints from the left seem to contradict that they are doing nothing with the overtime, given all that profiling going on at taco stands. You would think that Washington would have been cleansed of illegals by now. Which it certainly isn't.
