Obama Regime Training Vigilante Squads On College Campuses

But those vigilante squads are not to identify and arrest illegal aliens, but intervene in what the vigilantes "feel" is rape.

Bloomberg Business Week April 29, 2014 by Claire Suddath
The White House Cracks Down on College Sexual Assault as Tufts Refuses to Comply
Now the Obama administration has issued new guidelines to force schools to handle sexual assault on their campuses: They must conduct anonymous surveys about sexual assaults, make sure that reported crimes remain confidential, and adopt more comprehensive education programs that train bystanders to intervene if they witness something they feel is wrong.

So, unqualified lesbian activists will be patrolling frat parties to "rescue" comely young coeds who they think are being "raped?"  What legal authority will they have?  Will they have any immunity from civil suit if they do something illegal themselves, like molest the comely young coeds they are trying to rescue?  Will they be armed like George Zimmerman?  From where is their authority derived if they are not on Federal property? What law authorizes these vigilantes, or are these the Obama Regime Administrative Vigilante Squads?  Inquiring minds want to know the details about this authority these vigilantes will be exercising.

But more importantly, will the Obama Regime be giving similar authority to Americans who want to arrest illegal aliens?

Evidence Of The Upcoming Expansion Of The Administrative Amnesty

The Obama Regime is not talking about what will be part of the upcoming "reform" of deportation, but the evidence is accumulating that the expansion of the Obama Regime Administrative Amnesty will include criminal aliens and previous deportees.  Such evidence is again before the public.  In an unprecedented move, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Pennsylvania has dismissed charges not based on any legal defect in the criminal case, but based on political manipulation by the tax-payer funded attorney for the illegal alien from Mexico.

Note the tattoos that imply criminal associations.
Erie Times-News By Lisa Thompson April 26, 2014
U.S. Attorney Moves To Dismiss High-Profile Erie Immigration Case
U.S. Attorney David J. Hickton has filed a motion to dismiss an illegal re-entry charge against an Ohio man whose case triggered an immigration rights rally in Erie in March.
Hickton said in the motion that the dismissal of the felony charge against Alfredo Ramos Gallegos would be "in the interests of justice."
Gallegos, a 40-year-old factory worker, was indicted in March on charges he violated federal law by illegally re-entering the United States without permission soon after being deported by an immigration judge in 2000.
"I thoroughly reviewed the case and based upon the facts and the circumstances, and in the interest of justice, we decided to move to dismiss the indictment," Hickton said Friday. He is U.S. attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania, which includes Erie.
The presiding judge, U.S. District Judge David S. Cercone, had not yet ruled on the motion.
Gallegos' lawyer, Thomas Patton, an assistant federal public defender, said the dismissal came after he met with Hickton about the case.

Gallegos has been deported several times and re-entered the United States after his deportation each time.

Gallegos was released in March to his home in Painesville, Ohio, to await further proceedings. Patton said it was "safe to say" Gallegos was "very happy" about Hickton's decision...
The Border Patrol has said that Gallegos twice violated a deportation order and that the Feb. 8 event marked his fifth arrest for immigration violations.
If convicted in the criminal case, Gallegos could face up to two years in prison and a fine.

Even worse than the fact that criminal charges were dropped, Gallegos will not be deported.  He gets the Administrative Amnesty for Criminal Aliens.

His arrest in February also triggered parallel immigration proceedings that could result in his deportation. But on the day of his court appearance in Erie in March, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement granted him a one-year "stay of removal."

And political pressure was the reason criminal charges were dropped.  Shocking that a United States Attorney, who took an oath to enforce the law without fear or favor, dropped a slam-dunk case.

Leopold and Gallegos' supporters, including Hola, a Latino outreach and advocacy group based in Ohio, and America's Voice, a Washington D.C.-based immigration advocacy group, organized the March rally that aimed to halt the prosecution.
They welcomed news of Hickton's motion Friday.
"Clearly, Attorney Hickton took a look at the equities in this case, saw that this man has been here for two decades, paid his taxes, raised children who are U.S. citizens, and has been a provider for an American family. Hickton did the right thing by dismissing this case, and I hope this same wisdom will prevail with (U.S. Attorney General) Eric Holder and the Department of Justice," Leopold said.
Veronica Dahlberg, executive director of Hola Ohio, thanked Hickton for "delivering justice."

The arrogant illegal aliens and their boosters now claim that Gallegos is not a criminal:

"We are truly grateful that Alfredo can now work and live in peace and without fear of being labeled a 'criminal.' ... He's exactly the type of person we should be welcoming with open arms."

What this tells us is that the Regime will expand the amnesty for previously deported illegal aliens and to criminal aliens. Such aliens just a few short years ago were claimed by John Morton, former head of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, to the agency's "priorities."  Clearly now the only priority that ICE has is to give work permits to criminal aliens and previous deportees.

As evidence of the political gamesmanship and not any basis in law for the motion to dismiss, not that a mere Assistant Federal Defender met personally with the United States Attorney.

Gallegos' lawyer, Thomas Patton, an assistant federal public defender, said the dismissal came after he met with Hickton about the case.

For the record, U.S. Attorney's (USA) do not meet with Assistant Federal Defenders.  USA'sdo not even generally meet with Assistant U.S. Attorneys (AUSA), their direct subordinates. Supervisory AUSAs and First Assistant USAs deal with line employees at the U.S. Attorney's Office.  It would be as if the Director of the FBI met with a Special Agent of the U.S. Secret Service.  It just does not happen.  The Director of the FBI does meet with the Director of the Secret Service (USSS), but not with line employees of the USSS.  There is no reason for a USA to meet with the lowest level employee of another Federal agency.  Perhaps he might meet as a courtesy the Federal Public Defender, the head of the Federal Public Defender's Office. Still more shocking is that an Assistant Federal Public Defender was part of an organized public campaign involving political lobbying concerning a criminal case, which is well outside the writ of an Assistant Federal Public Defender.  In fact it is a violation of the Hatch Act.

You can contact Judge Cercone here and urge him to reject the motion to dismiss by Hickton and uphold the laws of the United States and see that those laws be faithfully executed.

Finally, Someone Who The Left Wants To Deport

Too bad he is innocent of any crime.  The heroic Defense Minister of El Salvador who stood up not just to the cultural Marxists in the Jesuits and Maryknoll Orders, but to the card carrying Communists terrorists of the Farabundo Martí National Liberation Front (FMLN) has been ordered deported.  This is the punishment for fighting communism.

Deportation Order Seen As Justice Finally Served For Atrocities
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CNS) -- A deportation order for El Salvador's former defense minister who lives in Florida but presided over an era of atrocities and torture in his own country underscores a new era of U.S. foreign policy, according to one of the lead attorneys who sued the official, retired Gen. Jose Guillermo Garcia, in U.S. District Court in 2002.
In late February of this year, the U.S. departments of Justice and Homeland Security concluded "removal proceedings," ordering Garcia's deportation on the grounds that he fostered an atmosphere in impunity during the bloody civil war in El Salvador from roughly 1979 to 1992.

No word that the green card given to the terrorist Pedro Andrade who killed 4 Marine Security Guards at our embassy in San Salvador will be revoked and the communist terrorist Andrade will be deported.  But justice demands it.

Dallas Police Department Schools ICE SVU

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Special Victims Unit (ICE SVU) is the agency within the Department of Homeland Security that is supposed to enforce immigration and customs laws.  However the management at ICE SVU does not want that responsibility, so it has been seeking other missions.  One of its priorities is sex trafficking, a mythical crime that appeals to politicians of the left and right.  The left for the exploitation of women and the right for fighting prostitution.  That the left supports prostitution is of no consequence though.  However, the chimera of sex trafficking has not stopped ICE SVU even after their Super Bowl fail.

Dallas News April 20, 2014 by Kevin Krause
Child Sex Trafficking Arrests Timed To NCAA Final Four Weekend
When hordes of college hoops fans descended on North Texas for the NCAA Final Four basketball tournament, they were joined by another more sinister group: people trafficking in child prostitution.
An FBI task force that included Dallas police said it arrested four pimps, 18 “johns,” and three people who solicited children for sex trafficking on the Internet in a four-day crackdown during the tournament two weeks ago. Also, five children were discovered and rescued, which is a top goal of such operations.

Note the mention of the FBI.  It is well known that ICE SVU is seeking to supplant the FBI as the premier federal law enforcement agency not enforcing immigration laws. And child sex crimes is one of the areas that ICE SVU is challenging the FBI for supremacy.  The FBI is the Federal law enforcement agency charged with enforcing child pornography laws, the Lindbergh Act, and the Mann Act.  The Department of Justice and the FBI fund and lead most Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task forces, however, ICE SVU wants in on that action.  And it has plenty of resources as it has abandoned immigration law enforcement.

“There’s going to be probably a lot of men at a sporting event coming to a specific location who will be alone with money, partying,” said Shawn McGraw, a supervisor with Homeland Security Investigations in Dallas. “We feel that increases our opportunities to identify minors who may be exploited by adult males.”

Unfortunately for ICE SVU, the Dallas Police Department (DPD) is on the case, and they have found little sex trafficking at all and no increase due to the Final Four.

But some say crime statistics don’t substantiate concerns that large sporting events breed child sex trafficking.
When the Super Bowl came to North Texas in 2011, police did not report a big spike in either adult or child prostitution cases, perhaps due in part to the icy and cold weather conditions. But one of the people they did arrest was a felon from Austin who forced a 14-year-old girl and her adult sister to come work as prostitutes in Dallas because “there was big money to be made,” authorities said.
Sgt. Byron Fassett of the Dallas Police Department’s child exploitation squad said some child advocacy groups may exaggerate claims of sex trafficking during sporting events to try to bring attention to the problem. He said although the number of sex ads increases during such events, he hasn’t seen evidence of large numbers of children being trafficked for sex.
And he said his unit doesn’t conduct enforcement operations just when a big event hits town.
“We work on it on a daily basis,” Fassett said. “It’s happening 365 days a year.”
The goal is to find potential victims, get them off the streets and give them the social services they need, Fassett said.

Well, it seems that prostitution and sex trafficking are best addressed and are being addressed by local law enforcement agencies.  It appears that there is no need for ICE SVU to abandon immigration law enforcement.

In the past, police primarily discovered child prostitutes during vice arrests. Fassett says his first goal is to make contact with prostitutes by calling phone numbers listed in Internet sex ads.
“We’re just leveraging the technology like everybody else does,” he said. “We’re taking their techniques and tools and using it against them.”
If the girls are under 18, police will move quickly to rescue them. Then officers can go after their pimps who have been trafficking them, Fassett said.
Fassett said he wants to give the women the “opportunity to get out” rather than arresting them on prostitution charges.

Women?  Under 18?  Opportunity to get out? Well that tells me that this is not about children, but about teen-aged prostitutes who clearly are emancipated in the sense that they are close to 18 and not looking to get back home, but make a quick buck. If the prostitutes were children, they would not need an "opportunity" to get out, they would be seized by the police and turned over to Child Protective Services. It also appears that the crime is home-grown and not the result of some international conspiracy to bring teen-aged prostitutes to America.  Note also that Sgt. Fassett did not say that these girls were trafficked from out of the United States.  Clearly these are all local girls.  No customs or immigration violation for ICE SVU to investigate.

It appears that since the DPD and other police departments are dealing with teen-aged prostitutes, not child prostitutes, on a daily basis and that the problem is well in had and not in need of abandoning immigration law enforcement for a crime being dealt with by local police departments.  Clearly, the chimera of sex trafficking was created out of whole cloth to justify ending immigration law enforcement activity by ICE SVU.

Illegal Aliens Still Voting

Racists like Eric Holder claim there is no problem with voter fraud, at least by blacks and other non-whites, but the reality is that vote fraud is massive and illegal aliens are part of the problem.

SFGate April 18, 2014
Woman Arrested For Nevada Voter Fraud
CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — Secretary of State Ross Miller says a woman has been arrested on two felony charges for allegedly using a false identity to register to vote and casting ballots in Nevada elections...
A complaint filed by the attorney general's office says Segura registered to vote in Washoe County in August 2008 and provided identification with the name of Marisela Reyna. Authorities confirmed she voted in the 2008 and 2010 elections.
Authorities say information from the Justice Department show Segura was arrested in 2012 and deported for filing a false statement on a passport application. They say she also had a false Nevada driver's license, prompting the investigation.

The problem is real and growing, but illegal aliens who vote are arrested by State authorities, not ICE SVU.

Trial Balloon Up On Expanding The Administrative Amnesty

The latest trial balloon on expanding the Obama Regime Administrative Amnesty is out.  The plan is to end all deportations except for those with "serious" criminal convictions and those with national security issues.

Yahoo News April 21, 2014 by Associated Press
US Weighs Curbing Deportations
WASHINGTON (AP) — Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson is weighing limiting deportations of immigrants living in the U.S. illegally who don't have serious criminal records, according to two people with knowledge of his deliberations.
The change, if adopted following an ongoing review ordered by President Barack Obama, could shield tens of thousands of immigrants now removed each year solely because they committed repeat immigration violations, such as re-entering the country illegally after having been deported, failing to comply with a deportation order or missing an immigration court date.

Apparently the plan has been in the works for a long time, as this blog has warned since 2009.

John Sandweg, who served until February as acting director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, said he had promoted the policy change for immigrants without serious criminal records before his departure and that it was being weighed by Johnson. An immigration advocate who's discussed the review with the administration also confirmed the change was under consideration. The advocate spoke on condition of anonymity because the proceedings are confidential.

Sandweg is the ICE official who instituted the practice of assisting alien smugglers bringing minors to the United States to live illegally.

Also included, as this blog warned, is previously deported illegal aliens, who are felons by the way, and those illegal aliens who absconded from an deportation order.

The approach outlined by Sandweg and the immigration advocate would change the existing priority categories that now include immigrants who've re-entered the country after they have been deported previously, and those who are fugitives from immigration proceedings. Such people would be taken off the priority list.

All that remains is for the Regime to gauge the reaction of John Boehner for any threat of impeachment or obstruction with riders to appropriations bills.

Confirmation Of The Obama Regime Administrative Amnesty For Criminals

The Obama Regime Administrative Amnesty has been extended to every group of aliens.  My post on VDare detailed how the Administrative Amnesty slowly expanded as the opposition from RINOs did not appear, eventually reaching criminal aliens, that group of illegals that was supposed to be the "priority" of the Regime.  And information about the amnesty for criminal aliens has come hot and heavy since. And each day more information appears detailing the Administrative Amnesty for Criminal Aliens.

Debbie Schlussel April 9, 2014
EXCLUSIVE: Obama Won’t Deport Muslim Illegal Alien Convicted of Voter Fraud After Spending $$$s Beating Him in Court; ICE Agents Outraged
DebbieSchlussel.com has exclusively learned that the Obama Administration refuses to deport a Muslim illegal alien who was convicted of voter fraud, EVEN AFTER a Federal Court of Appeals (and every court before that) has ordered that he should be deported.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents are rightfully angry that, despite their hard work in investigating Asif Gulzar Pasha, a Pakistani national who voted illegally in North Carolina in 2004 and falsely claimed to be a U.S. citizen, he remains on U.S. soil. He’s living freely and snubbing his nose at them, even after the 11th Circuit U.S. Federal Court of Appeal ruled that he is guilty and ordered him deported (read the Court’s opinion). That was back in July 2012. In fact, Pasha bragged to ICE agents that he is still here and rubbed their noses in it. Pasha said that while the local ICE office was fighting to deport him, it was all for nothing because ICE Headquarters directed that Pasha NOT be deported and be left alone. HUH?
The Obama Administration has been claiming in documents and memos to ICE that only convicted felons are to be arrested and deported. But, as you know, that’s not what’s happening. And Pasha is yet another example.

Note that this blog has documented the Regime's failure to deport legal aliens who vote illegally.

Also note, that the Regime has also decided to stop deporting illegal aliens who have been ordered deported but refused to leave.  Sources tell this blog that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Enforcement and Removal Operations (ICE ERO) is under instructions not to arrest aliens ordered deported but to tell any such aliens they encounter that they must self-deport in 30 days.  If encountered again, the alien must not be arrested, but told to leave in 30 days again.  Basically, deportation has ended.

Obama Regime Profiling

But the Regime is profiling whites, in this case white employers.

NRO April 9, 2014 by Jillian Kay Melchior
The IRS Of Labor
Alabama representative Martha Roby, a Republican from Montgomery, is concerned that the U.S. Department of Labor is targeting Southern vehicle and auto-parts manufacturers because of their failure to unionize.
Automotive manufacturers in Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi are all now subject to in-depth inspections, part of an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regional emphasis program that went into effect on January 15. This increased scrutiny comes a year after the agency also issued a rule clarification in response to a question from organized labor, newly allowing union staffers to accompany OSHA officials on inspections to non-union sites...
Furthermore, when Labor Secretary Thomas Perez spoke at a congressional hearing, he used some odd — and arguably deceptive — data to justify the regional emphasis program on these southern manufacturers.
The reason we added this regional emphasis program is because when we see data and we have experiences showing there is a problem, then we put that emphasis in the areas where there is a problem,” Perez explained at a congressional hearing on April 2, claiming that Alabama’s auto-parts manufacturers in particular had seen about 4.5 occupational injuries per 100 workers, compared with the average of 3 per 100 nationwide.

So, if a profile fits a crime then it is legitimate.  This would be like profiling Mexicans, who make up the majority of illegal aliens in the United States?

In The Bad News Department: More Foreigners And Less Sex

Some months ago this blog reported on an ethno-state that works, the Land of the Rising Sun.  Japan is a nation that looks out for itself and its people, where the young, poor, and middle-classes have a real chance through hard work and common sense to prosper without have their jobs bid out to millions of aliens both legal and illegal to benefit the Slave Power.  Life for the majority of Japanese was never easy, Japan was always a poor nation until its industrialization in the 19th century and the peasant and urban classes were always literally in fear of their lives from the samurai class who held the power of death over subordinate classes.  Of course, the high IQ Japanese realized this could not go on in an industrial society and they adapted socially.  However, Japan at that time as well as today had a concept of itself as Japanese.  Unfortunately though, some Western innovations, such as birth control, were areas where Japan did not utilize its high IQ.  Soon after the Second World War, Japan was caught up in a Malthusian based fear of overpopulation that was supported by the American occupation authorities.  The result was a steadily declining birth rate that is having serious consequences today as Japan rapidly ages.

As an aside, I remember an anthropology professor at the 3rd tier California State University I attended who was quite full of himself for celebrating both Japanese supposed open attitude to sex prior to the war and their embrace of abortion as birth control after the war.  Interestingly enough the Japanese population decline occurred without oral contraceptives, but was and is abortion based.  Of course my 3rd tier anthropology professor's stories about Japanese village sexual activities of young unmarried people was really his childish attempt to epater la bourgeoisie by imitating Margaret Mead rather than any serious review of rural sexual practices in Japan, more in line with the lies in Coming of Age in Samoa, than any serious ethnographic work.  This professor also enthusiastically endorsed Japan's efforts at population control after the war.  Of course, there did not seem to be a problem in the immediate aftermath when things were bad or when Japan led the world decades later in production of autos and electronics.  What he did not tell his students circa the 1980s was that village youths who got pregnant then got married and bore children.  Which is supposed to be how the whole sex thing works out.  Of course, he was appealing to horny young adults looking for an endorsement of the sexual revolution.  He was unable to see the day when Japan would not have enough children to take care of their parents.

However, the below replacement level of the population has developed into a real problem and makes this writer's former professor at a 3rd tier state university look real bad and things are getting worse:

Business Insider By Megan Willet October 21, 2013
Almost Half Of Young Japanese Women Are Not Interested In Sex
A new report from The Guardian's Abigail Haworth quotes a shocking statistic from the Japan Family Planning Association (JFPA) that 45% of Japanese women aged 16-24 "were not interested in or despised sexual contact."
Twenty-five percent of Japanese men feel the same way, according to the JFPA.
The statistic comes from Haworth's recent article about how more and more young people in Japan have stopped having sex — bad news for Japan's population crisis, given the country's already low birth rate and the projection that its population of 126 million is expected to plunge 30% by 2060.

And the problem is about to get worse.  Japanese politicians are looking to immigrants, rather than their own people for the solution.

The Japan Times March 26, 2014
Japan’s Ruling Party Calls For More Foreign Workers
A panel of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party issued an interim report Wednesday calling on the government to boost the number of foreign workers in the country.
To accomplish this, the Headquarters for Japan’s Economic Revitalization is pushing for improvements in the on-the-job training program for people from developing countries and regions.

However, the Japanese appear willing and able to limit the impact of immigration by keeping it in strict bounds.

Introduced in 1993, the program currently allows foreign workers to receive job training in Japan for up to three years.
The panel’s report calls for allowing such stays to be extended by about two years if both employer and trainee are willing.
The panel proposed making it easier for foreign workers to re-enter Japan and making the job training program more convenient for employers.
The panel believes it necessary to make more use of skilled foreign workers because Japan’s working-age population is declining.
The report adds that active discussions should be held on allowing non-Japanese to work in the agriculture and manufacturing sectors for short periods, and as household helpers.

It appears that the Japanese have not been completely intimidated by the Internationale and are limiting the number and duration of temporary immigrants.  This is by far wiser than the European and American policy of importing not workers, but populations, and then hoping that some of the immigrants will work.  It also appears that high-skilled labor is not part of the Japanese immigration plan, but are restricting it to low-end manual labor and household help for the elderly.

But the threat remains from international cultural Marxists who want to change Japan.  One hopes the Japanese take up this challenge with their samurai spirit and ethno-nationalism. Ganbate Kudasai Nippon! The eyes of America's patriots turn to you.  A wiser policy would encourage marriage and child rearing among one's own people rather than importing what will be in the end only problem stained immigrants.  Population control, despite its endorsement by 3rd tier anthropology professors, is the death of one's nation.

More Accusations Of Racism On Cue From Chinese Gangster

Or, more precisely, his Red Diaper attorney, Tony Serra.  The only defense that  Kwok Cheung, also known as Raymond "Shrimp Boy" Chow, is avoiding the issue of the crimes he committed.  The best distraction is of course an accusation of racism, which is the equivalent of a guilty plea.

SFGate by Bob Egelko April 8, 2014
FBI Entrapped Raymond 'Shrimp Boy' Chow, Lawyer Says
As state Sen. Leland Yee and his codefendants pleaded not guilty Tuesday to charges of political corruption, gun-running and other crimes financed by payoffs from undercover agents, a lawyer for one defendant accused the FBI of entrapment and racism.
"The government created the crime, the government financed the crime, and the government ensnared my client," Tony Serra, lawyer for Raymond "Shrimp Boy" Chow, told reporters after 21 defendants were arraigned in federal court. "We will put the government rightfully on trial..."
The investigation was fueled, he contended, by "unadulterated racism," an effort to show that "Chinese gangsters ... control Chinatown."

Serra is confident in victory, but that is unlikely.  Serra for all his bluster and reputation, is notorious for losing cases.

"It's a bunch of baloney," Serra said, calling the impending trial "the best antigovernment case I've seen in maybe a decade."

More likely is that Chow will make another plea deal with the government, just as he did when he testified against his predecessor in the Wo Hop To Triad, Peter Chong. Chow also is the beneficiary of the gangland slaying of Allen Leung, reputed leader of the Hung Moon Ghee Kong Tong, a traditional anti-Manchu Chinese social organization that provides a respectable front for Triad gangsters.

The Press Democrat/Associate Press March 28, 2014
FBI Sting Shows San Francisco Chinatown Underworld
The organization is among dozens of active tongs, or family associations, in Chinatown, and Chow assumed control when its former president, Allen Leung, was shot to death by a masked gunman at his import-export store in 2006, said David Lee, director of the Chinese American Voters Education Committee.

Given Serra's bad lawyering, expect Shrimp Boy to rat again.  Shrimp Boy is a survivor, he survived the infamous Golden Dragon Massacre, expect him to tell all on Leland Yee.  The only question is will Shrimp Boy ever be deported.

To paraphrase Peter Brimelow, as a prosecutor, you know you are winning when the defense attorney makes accusations of racism.

Regime Looking To Expand Criminal Alien Amnesty

The radical left and racist groups led by the Congressional Hispanic Caucus have been pressuring the Regime to expand the Administrative Amnesty for illegal aliens in the United States.  The radicals have succeeded in obtaining a commitment from the Regime to review deportation policies with the implicit goal of reducing deportations.  The problem is that the Regime has stopped deporting any non-criminal alien from the United States.  So in two stories, the Regime has not only confirmed this blogger's observations, but made it clear that criminal aliens will be the only available and primary beneficiary of the expansion of the Obama Regime Administrative Amnesty.

First, I will introduce you to the next beneficiary and poster boy of the soon to be announced Administrative Amnesty For Criminal Aliens, Ramon Mendoza Pascual.

The Guardian by Rory Carroll April 10, 2014
Detained In Washington: 'They Put Me In Shackles. Why? I Am Not A Criminal'
“I am not free. They put me in shackles,” said Ramon Mendoza Pascual, 37, who’s been held at the centre since September 2013. “Why? l don't feel like a criminal. I'm not a criminal.”
The detention centre in Tacoma is one of the biggest in a nationwide network of 250 facilities that, together, are holding 34,000 people marked for deportation. It is also the crucible of a burgeoning protest campaign. Mendoza, an undocumented migrant from Mexico, has led hundreds of his fellow detainees in a series of hunger strikes that have triggered a similar protest at a centre in Texas and drawn attention to one of the most controversial links in the deportation chain.

Of course, Pascual is a liar.  He is a convicted criminal, a drunk driver, who escaped arrest and deportation after his first DUI offense, but after his arrest for his second offense, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Enforcement and Removal Operations (ICE ERO) had the temerity to place this long-time illegal alien in deportation proceedings.

He entered the US illegally 20 years ago to seek a better life, he said, and found it in the Pacific northwest – doing construction, buying a mobile home, marrying and raising three children, aged five, 10 and 12, all of whom are US citizens.
Last September he had a few beers and was arrested for driving under the influence. The charge was dropped – Mendoza claimed the vehicle was parked and his wife was coming to pick him up. He had been convicted of DUI in 2007, however, and police handed him to Ice, which categorised him “an illegal alien with a criminal record” and incarcerated him in Tacoma.

Pascual is leading a hunger strike to bring attention to his gamble for Administrative Amnesty and it appears that he will win that gamble as the new Regime policy on ending deportations will include criminal aliens with family in the United States.

As Reform Stalls, Administration Eyes Acting On Its Own To Ease Deportations, Lawmakers Say
The Obama administration is likely to take steps in coming weeks to ease the pace of deportations for some illegal immigrants while also considering much broader changes if GOP lawmakers continue to block immigration reforms, according to several House Democrats and aides, who met with the new homeland security secretary this week.
Administration officials say that no decisions have been made by President Obama, and cautioned that there are serious legal obstacles to bypassing Congress on immigration policies.

That is the same lie that Obama gave before the DACA amnesty.  And after the lies, then we get the Ramon Mendoza Pascual amnesty admission.

But members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus and aides who were involved in a closed-door briefing with Homeland Security Secretary Jeh C. Johnson said they think the tide is shifting in favor of some unilateral action by the administration.
Johnson told the group that he had a series of “short-term goals” he hoped to address in coming weeks and that he would focus on “longer-term” issues later, after completing a comprehensive review ordered by Obama, participants said. Changes could include narrowing the definition of who should be deported under current policies, which have ensnared many immigrants with steady jobs and young families that have been arrested for relatively minor offenses.

There we have it.  One story describing an illegal alien as a steadily employed and with a family:

Mendoza, who was not so long ago a carpenter installing doors and windows in Seattle, has become one of the rallying points for a backlash that has rattled the White House...

He entered the US illegally 20 years ago to seek a better life, he said, and found it in the Pacific northwest – doing construction, buying a mobile home, marrying and raising three children, aged five, 10 and 12, all of whom are US citizens.

And the second story telling us that criminal aliens formerly employed and with family are on the table for an expanding Administrative Amnesty.

“We have an administration that has said, ‘There’s nothing I can do, there’s nothing I can do, there’s nothing I can do,’ ” said Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.), an outspoken critic of the administration’s deportation policies. “Now, we’re sitting down with a homeland security secretary who’s saying, ‘I’m reviewing everything,’ and clearly he’s going to take steps.”

The next step should be impeachment, but don't expect anything from John Boehner.

ICE SVU Back To The Strip Clubs

In an defacto endorsement of the porn industry, U.S. Immigration and Customs Special Victims Unit (ICE SVU) has teamed with strip clubs to fight what it calls trafficking, something that used to be called white slavery.  This was the interstate transportation of women for immoral purposes, prohibited by the Mann Act, and like the federal kidnapping statute, the Lindbergh Act, within the purview of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for enforcement.  ICE SVU which is unhappy with its statutory immigration law enforcement, is constantly seeking to expand its enforcement authority to the detriment of immigration law enforcement.

Feds, Strip Clubs Fighting Human Trafficking
It was a standard hotel conference room scene — slices of fresh fruit and muffins laid out next to coffee urns and bottles of water chilling on ice as the attendees straggled in, industry friends hugging hello and quickly catching up on personal lives.
The west suburban conference, though, was hardly typical, and before it got started a hotel manager, standing near TV cameras there to cover the event, even asked an organizer to leave his hotel chain's name out of remarks if possible.
The 100 or so attendees were dancers, doormen, valets and bartenders from six Chicago-area strip clubs. And they were there to meet with federal agents from the Department of Homeland Security about how they might offer help with a problem that has increasingly become a target of law enforcement investigations: sex trafficking.

All for naught though:

The training Dulin attended is part of a 3-year-old partnership between federal agents and the strip club industry that started after St. Louis-based club operator Michael Ocello found one of his clubs the target of a human trafficking investigation.
Though no charges came of it, Ocello said learning about the issue led him to reach out to federal law enforcement to offer his help. He has since organized a group called COAST — Club Operators Against Sex Trafficking — and has hosted more than 40 training sessions across the country, involving 200 clubs, run by Homeland Security agents and social service providers.

However, the continuing myth of sex trafficking has not stopped ICE SVU from pursuing this ethereal crime while ignoring real crimes like illegal alien dominated drug cartels in Chicago or illegal alien voters.

And the few victims appear to be predominately American citizens, just as most prostitutes in this country are American citizens.

Agents said U.S. citizens have been forced into trafficking as well through coercive measures.

Usually the crime of forcing a woman to turn tricks by an abusive pimp is in the jurisdiction of the local police department or the FBI if the woman is kidnapped or transported across State lines.  But ICE SVU is using this crime unrelated to immigration or customs law enforcement to not only poach on the FBI's turf, but to avoid fulfilling its statutory responsibility to arrest illegal aliens.

ICE SVU Now Targeting The Secret Service

The Final Four and NCAA basketball are in the news and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Special Victims Unit (ICE SVU) is doing what it does best, which is not immigration law enforcement, but protecting the investments of the rich and powerful.  The professional sport of college basketball is no exception even while 20 million illegal aliens wander America unafraid of the Federal law enforcement agency who's mission is to arrest those same illegal aliens.

TOP STORY: HSI Dallas Supports Law Enforcement Partners During Final Four
DALLAS — It's called Final Four madness for good reason. Officials predict about 100,000 visitors will flock to North Texas April 4-7 to celebrate the final four NCAA games and attend 40 surrounding events. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in Dallas is lending its law enforcement support to the Dallas Police Department to ensure the public is protected during Final Four Madness events taking place in Dallas.
HSI Dallas is assisting the Dallas Police Department and the Dallas SWAT with one of the big attractions, the March Madness Music Festival inside the Dallas Convention Center in Bracket Town and Reunion Arena area. The Music Festival is an interactive event with more than 40,000 spectators expected to attend performances by top country and rock recording artists and bands.
HSI Dallas is providing radio communications and video surveillance. HSI Dallas deployed its Mobile Command Center (MCC) to serve as a command, control and communications platform. The MCC is outfitted with multiple workstations, a conference room, telephones and radios. It's designed to provide communications during large-scale enforcement operations, national security special events, natural disasters or other contingency operations.
"Final Four Madness is an exciting time that draws crowds," said HSI Dallas Special Agent in Charge David Marwell. "But security is always a major concern during large-scale public events like this, and our main concern is keeping everyone safe. We're glad to assist our law enforcement partners in Dallas with communications, which is a key security measure."
HSI Dallas' MCC also supported Super Bowls held in Arlington, Texas; New Orleans, La.; and Indianapolis, Ind. The MCC also supported the grand opening of the George W. Bush Library and the JFK Memorial both in Dallas, Texas, as well as other events around the country.

Now we know why ICE released 68,000 criminal aliens; they were too busy playing security guard for sports teams.  Such security activity by ICE SVU is not authorized by law.  Providing security to National Special Security Events, such as the Final Four, the Superbowl, or any other event, is assigned by law to the U.S. Secret Service under Title 18 United States Code Section 3056.

Obama Regime Expands Medieval Sanctuary Policy

The Obama Regime did not start the policy of sanctuary for law breakers, it started long ago, but nor did it start the policy of protecting illegal aliens from arrest.  The policy started under the first Bush Administration where the City of San Jose became a defacto sanctuary from arrest the legacy Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) all due to a particularly aggressive Special Agent in the Service who was well known for tracking down illegal aliens to their homes and arresting the illegals there.  The policy slowly expanded, first to houses of worship, then to primary and secondary schools, and eventually under Clinton to post-secondary schools as well.  By that time illegal aliens knew the drill and could live their lives openly for the first time.  Also taking advantage of the mosque and post-secondary school sanctuary were the 9/11 hijackers who stayed at various mosques in the United States, such as the Dar Al-Hijrah in Virginia and the Islamic Center of San Diego.  The 9/11 hijackers also used the sanctuary of post-secondary institutions as well, doing their training at various flight schools with and without proper documentation.  The Clinton policy was not to investigate or arrest illegal aliens at such institutions and that continued under the Bush Administration, one reason that even though the FBI was looking for Saudi terrorists, they and the INS avoided pressing flight schools for information or arresting other illegals to flush out the terrorists or develop leads on the few then known soon to be hijackers.

Also of note, the 9/11 hijackers had problems with the police in the United States, such Nawaf Alhazmi, as well as Mohammed Atta, who had numerous citations and an arrest warrant issued for him.  Just imagine if those encounters with the police resulted in arrest and deportation as both were violating the status of their admission to the United States, e.g. they were illegal aliens who violated the conditions that governed the time and activity of their student visas.

But in the news, if tomorrow's terrorist is arrested, the Obama Regime will be doing nothing to investigate and arrest that illegal alien as now a courthouse where a terrorist or an illegal alien will be taking care of a warrant issued for a traffic offense or paying a fine on an infraction or misdemeanor, or even appearing for a trial is a place of sanctuary.

ICE Changes Guidelines For Agents At Courthouses But Won't Say How
Sometime over the past couple of weeks, officials for the federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement division revised guidelines for how agents are to conduct themselves in and around courthouses.
The change came on the heels of complaints by the American Civil Liberties Union, the Southern Poverty Law Center and immigrant rights groups that agents were targeting undocumented immigrants as they tended to unrelated court business. Unfortunately, ICE says that “due to law enforcement sensitivities, the specific details of that guidance are not being released.”
Here’s the full statement:
“As is true of all law enforcement components, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) division routinely evaluates its operational procedures to ensure its resources are being used effectively and efficiently. To that end, ICE ERO recently provided its field personnel with updated guidance related to enforcement actions at or in close proximity to courthouses.
However, due to law enforcement sensitivities, the specific details of that guidance are not being released.”

An ICE official added on background that “while ERO has issued updated guidance to its field personnel regarding the execution of law enforcement actions at or near courthouses, ICE has not amended its sensitive locations memorandum, which applies to all of the agency’s enforcement components.” Those “sensitive locations” are schools, churches and the sites of weddings and funerals - all places at which agents have been told not to approach suspected undocumented immigrants.

This blogger has it on good authority that courthouses have been added to the memorandum in question but in a roundabout manner typical of the Regime.  It is not as explicit as for places of worship or schools, but the strict conditions have made courthouses another place of sanctuary.

So it is, the groups complaining will not be satisfied until all deportations have ended and this is just another manifestation of the end of immigration law enforcement in the United States.  Sanctuaries may be as large as a city, as small as a courthouse, but courthouses are important for immigration law enforcement as a courthouse is where terrorists and illegal aliens gather to pay fines, get divorced, or sue an employer. Soon the policy will be explicit, as that is part of the Kabuki theater of the Regime's policy development. First orchestrate a campaign over an issue in the press, then implement that policy when there is no push back from John Boehner.

Obama Regime To Ignore Illegal Voting By Aliens

Just in time for the 2014 mid-terms, the Obama Regime, in a new aspect of the Administrative Amnesty, has delayed assisting the Florida Secretary of State and Supervisors of Elections in identifying aliens voting illegally, both legal and illegal aliens by the way.  (h/t Election Law Center)

Florida Elections Chief Halts Voter Purge For 2014
TALLAHASSEE — Florida's top election official is putting on hold a contentious plan to identify and remove non-U.S. citizens from the state's voter rolls.
Secretary of State Ken Detzner on Thursday told the state's local election supervisors that he is delaying the effort until next year because of changes underway with a federal database that is used to help identify potential ineligible voters.
But the move comes amid lingering doubts from supervisors who remained skeptical of the state's ability to accurately identify such voters. An initial voter purge initiated ahead of the 2012 elections found some ineligible voters, but it also wrongly identified U.S. citizens.

In fact, there was no problem with misidentifying U.S. citizens as aliens.  There is no problem, because initial evidence is only used to initiate an investigation.  It is no problem if every lead on a possible illegal voter does not pan out.  That is how investigations into any misconduct pan out. Some investigations are successful and some are not.  If every investigation of a crime was unsuccessful and law enforcement agencies used that as the standard to decide not to initiate any further investigation, crime would skyrocket.  Which obviously is the plan here, as it appears that both parties don't want to find out about illegal voting by aliens.  There must be a lot of that illegal voting if politicians are frightened of the outcome of investigations.

This blog has reported successful investigations by voting authorities, such as illegal voting by Anita Caragan, but it appears that success is a red headed step-child here.  The crime is occurring, time to identify and prosecute the perpetrators.

The radical left tried to use lawfare to intimidate elections officials, but their lawsuit failed.

But critics charged the push was an effort by Republicans to intimidate naturalized citizens who are likely minorities and the effort spawned lawsuits against the state. A federal court last summer dismissed a lawsuit that a Hispanic civic organization and two naturalized citizens filed last year to block the contentious voter purge.
The lawsuit became moot because of a U.S. Supreme Court decision that halted enforcement of a federal law that required all or parts of 15 states with a history of discrimination in voting to get federal approval before changing the way they hold elections.

So, why did Florida Republican officials pull back after victory was achieved?  Apparently it was to curry favor with the very groups whose lawsuit failed.

Groups that fought the state on the voter purge hailed Detzner's decision to postpone the state's efforts for now.
"It was irresponsible for Gov. Scott to undermine faith in our elections by creating fear that our voter rolls were filled with illegitimate voters when there was no evidence to suggest it," said Howard Simon, executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Florida. "Today's announcement confirms that the purge itself was the real threat to election integrity all along."

Typical of RINOs, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.  To answer the question, Republicans just don't want to win if it includes looking out for the historic American nation.
