The Juvenile Delinquent Jihad by Central Americans, the rushing of the border, has the Obama Regime and amnesty supporters rolling back on their heels like a punch drunk boxer. The Regime clearly overreached on their plan to flood the border with illegals and their conspiring with Eric Cantor to similarly rush amnesty through the House has been quashed for the moment. Clearly hubris has claimed the Obama Regime. And the Regime is planning a response, a jujitsu move designed to keep amnesty opponents on the defensive.

President Obama will ask Congress to provide more than $2 billion in new funds to control the surge of illegal Central American migrants at the South Texas border, and to grant broader powers for immigration officials to speed deportations of children caught crossing without their parents, White House officials said on Saturday.
Of course, the monies do not include a fence, but the intriguing part is the changes to the law:
Mr. Obama will send a letter on Monday to alert Congress that he will seek an emergency appropriation for rapidly expanding border enforcement actions and humanitarian assistance programs to cope with the influx, which includes record numbers of unaccompanied minors and adults bringing children. The officials gave only a general estimate of the amount, saying the White House would send a detailed request for the funds when Congress returned after the Fourth of July recess that began Friday and ends July 7.
It is not clear yet what exactly the provisions of law will be as there has been no release of the proposed legislation changing what may be the William Wilberforce Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2008, which is at the heart of the problem. It was a parting gift of Jorge Bush which interfered with the use of expedited removal for juvenile delinquent illegal aliens.
It appears that something like expedited removal will be proposed, as described by Henry Cuellar, former Supervisory Border Patrol Agent and current Representative.
Representative Henry Cuellar, a Democrat whose district includes a long stretch of the South Texas border, on Saturday visited about 1,000 migrants detained at the Border Patrol station in McAllen. He urged Congress to approve quick changes to laws on the handling of unaccompanied minors.
“When it’s Central American countries, there is a different process,” Mr. Cuellar said. “One of the things we need to do is tweak the law, to give Border Patrol the power to treat anybody the same as we treat Mexicans.”
However, this appears to be "boob-bait-for-bubbas." The Regime proposed strong language for the press, but immediately backtracked:
White House officials said they were not asking Congress to change other existing legal protections for children apprehended without their parents.
So, perhaps this proposed legislation will be a big nothing burger, but these "changes" to speed deportation might be the vehicle for the Gang of 8 amnesty. Stand by for betrayal by John Boehner. And don't expect any real changes, deportations of juveniles are falling precipitously.
